Deepak Joshi, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist who has been practicing medicine since 2006, spending the past six years in cardiology. He chose to practice cardiology because his family has an extensive history of cardiac illness, and he feels the specialty is both gratifying and exciting.
He believes in a compassionate and caring approach to medical care and greets his patients with a friendly face, listening ear, and caring heart.
“My goal is to educate, engage, and empower patients to make a positive impact in their health,” said Joshi.
Joshi earned his medical degree from the College of Medical Sciences at Kathmandu University, located in Nepal, before completing his residency in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
He is board-certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
When not treating patients, Joshi enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and is an outdoor enthusiast. He loves running, skiing, and hiking. In addition to English, Joshi is also fluent in Nepali and Hindi.
